Given: tan2x – sin2x = (sin2x)(tan2x)

L.H.S
sin2x/cos2x – sin2x (as tanx = sinx/cosx)
= [sin2x (1 – cos2x)]/cos2x
= [(sin2x)(sin2x)]/cos2x (as sin2x + cos2x = 1)
= (sin2x)(tan2x)
= R.H.S
