So I'm making a speech for class and it has to be funny. We have to act it out and sort of make it like this-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lKlMll9Rdw
Basically make a story funny.
The story I am doing is about a lady who is from Virginia who moved to Florida and needs a new drivers license for Florida. While at the DMV, the guy who helps her does everything to make getting her license much more complicated. The theme of the story is someone getting on your nerves by doing whatever they can to make you unable to do what you want.
Anyhoo I have to make an intro for it. The introduction should be short, show the theme, and connects to the audience in some way. Like in the video above, the guy's introduction is "Have you ever been 'scarred' for life? I mean really....have you ever walked in on your parents when they were...being brutally attacked by an evil wizard killer who's out to kill you too? Harry Potter has..."
I am at a total blank for my intro. I have no idea what to do. Can you please help me? Any ideas?
