Dilation is the type of transformation that changes the size of figure, i.e. Length of the line or side of the figure but not the angles.
So, as per the question when the figure with 80 degree angle is dilated by 2; the angle of the figure will remain same, but the length of sides will be multiplied by 2. Suppose the length of the sides are 5 cm after dilation it will be 10 cm.
So angle of the dilated figure will remain 80 degree only.
This can be better understood by the following figure :
In the above figure; the triangle A'B'C' is dilated by 2 and it turns into ABC
In ABC every side of the triangle is doubled but the respective angles of the triangle are the same.
