Let us assume 1st integer be x
So next 3 consecutive integers will be x+1, x+2 and x+3.
Now as per the question
Sum of 4 consecutive integers = 26
Therefore,
x + (x+1) + (x+2) + (x+3) = 26
x + x + x + x + 1 + 2+ 3 = 26
4x + 6 = 26
4x = 26 -6
4x = 20
So x = 5
The next 3 consecutive integers will be
x+1 = 5 + 1 = 6
x+2 = 5 + 2 = 7
x+3 = 5 + 3 = 8
Thus,the four consecutive integers are 5, 6, 7 and 8 whose sum is 26.
