If I am understanding your question correctly than you are looking for 7 different types of linear equation problems which are as follows :
1. 2x + 4 = 10
2x = 10 – 4
2x = 6
x = 6/2
x = 3
2. 3/5x = 10
3x = 10*5
3x = 50
x = 50/3
3. 5x + 7x = 72
12x = 72
x = 72/12
x = 6
4. 4x – 6 = 6x
4x – 6x = 6
-2x = 6
-x = 6/2
-x = 3
Multiplying both sides by -1
-1(-x) = -1(3)
x = -3
5. 8x -1 = 23 – 4x
8x + 4x = 23 +1
12 x = 24
x = 24 /12
x = 2
6. 9 = 3(5x – 2)
9 = 15x – 6
9 + 6 = 15x
15 = 15x
x = 15/15
x = 1
7. 7(5x-2) = 6(6x-1)
35x – 14 = 36x -6
35x – 36x = -6 +14
-x = 8
Multiplying both sides by -1
-1(-x) = -1(8)
x = -8
