 This lesson explains how to solve equations having variables on both sides. To solve such equations transform into an equivalent equation having variables on one side only and then solve the equation. For example, to solve the equation: 65 – 6x = 4x – 5, the steps are given below Write the equation 65 – 6x = 4x – 5 Step 1.
