Geometry: Getting Started - Transformation

In this lesson you’ll learn about the concepts and procedure of performing the basics of transformations. The presentation covering such content will be done by the instructor in own handwriting, using video and with the help of several examples with solution. This will help you understand important geometry transformations and how to make use of them.
In common and simple language: Rotation means- Turn using center of shape or certain point, Translation means- slide, Dilation means- enlargement or reduction and Reflection means- Flip over x or y axis. A transformation is thus a copy of a geometric figure, where pre-image and image have common properties i.e. a correspondence between two sets of points such that each point in the pre-image has a unique image and that each point in the image has exactly one pre-image (Fig-1:below):
