English: How are you? I hope you are fine.
Spanish: ¿Cómo estás? Espero que estés bien.
English: Today, we will talk about the places that are near my house. I am very lucky because everything is very close; the supermarket, the post office, the train station, the movie theater and many restaurants.
Spanish: Hoy, hablaremos sobre los lugares que están cerca de mi casa. Tengo mucha suerte porque todo está muy cerca; el supermercado, la oficina de correos, la estación del tren, el cine y muchos restaurantes.
English: For example, the train station is three blocks away from my house, there is only one block to the supermarket and from the supermarket to the park it’s only five minutes walking.
Spanish: Por ejemplo, la estación del tren está a tres cuadras de mi casa, hay solo una cuadra al supermercado y del supermercado al parque solo hay cinco minutos caminando.
English: Sometimes, after work or after school, I like to go home or to the movies with my friends.
Spanish: A veces, después del trabajo o de la escuela, me gusta ir a mi casa o al cine con mis amigos.
English: After the movie we go to the restaurant near my house and we talk about the movie, about work or about school.
