English: Hello! In this lesson, we are going to talk about some verbs that change their stem on their conjugation; to learn them I’m going talk to you about the activities that I prefer to do on Sundays.
Spanish: ¡Hola! En esta lección, vamos a hablar sobre algunos verbos que cambian su raíz en la conjugación; para aprenderlos voy a hablarte de las actividades que prefiero hacer los domingos.
English: Usually I sleep eight hours and I start my day around seven in the morning. For breakfast I prefer to eat eggs and drink a cup of coffee and I prefer reading the newspaper than watching television
Spanish: Usualmente duermo ocho horas y empiezo mi día a eso de las siete de la mañana. Para el desayuno prefiero comer huevos y beber una taza de café y prefiero leer el periódico que ver la televisión.
English: At noon I have lunch with friends and in the afternoon I return to my house. I play with my dog for a little while and I watch some television.
Spanish: Al mediodía almuerzo con amigos y por la tarde vuelvo a mi casa. Juego un rato con mi perro y miro un poco de televisión.
English: In the evening I remember that I need to call my friends and I return their calls. Then I think about what I’m going to do on Monday, and prepare myself for the following week.
Spanish: Por la noche, recuerdo que necesito llamar a mis amigos y les devuelvo las llamadas. Luego pienso en que voy a hacer el lunes y me preparo para la siguiente semana.
English: And you, what activities do you prefer to do on Sundays?
Spanish: Y tú, ¿Qué actividades prefieres hacer los domingos?
English: Do you play with your friends or sleep a lot?
Spanish: ¿Juegas con tus amigos o duermes mucho?
English: Do you prefer staying home or going out with your friends?
Spanish: ¿Prefieres quedarte en casa o salir con tus amigos?
English: Do you have lunch at your house or at a restaurant?
