English: How are you today? I hope you’re fine. Today I have to do three very important things.
Spanish: ¿Cómo estás este día? Espero que estés bien. Hoy tengo que hacer tres cosas muy importantes.
English: First of all, I have to call my best friend Juan. Juan has a dog and he wants me to walk his dog around the park this morning.
Spanish: En primer lugar, tengo que llamar a mi mejor amigo Juan. Juan tiene un perro y quiere que yo pasee a su perro por el parque esta mañana.
English: Then I’m going to see my student Carol, she tells me that I need to meet her sister Cathy because she wants to learn Spanish with me.
Spanish: Después voy a ver a mi estudiante Carol, ella me dice que necesito conocer a su hermana Cathy porque quiere aprender español conmigo.
English: Finally, I need to tell my friend Sonia that I already have the tickets to go to the movie theater tonight.
Spanish: Finalmente, debo decirle a mi amiga Sonia que ya tengo los boletos para ir al cine esta noche.
English: Now let’s see if you can remember the three things that I am going to do this day.
Spanish: Ahora veamos si puedes recordar las tres cosas que voy a hacer este día.
English: Whom do I have to call this morning?
Spanish: ¿A quién tengo que llamar esta mañana?
English: Very well, I have to call my best friend Juan.
Spanish: Muy bien, tengo que llamar a mi mejor amigo Juan.
English: Whom do I need to walk around the park?
Spanish: ¿A quién necesito pasear por el parque?
English: Of course, I need to walk his dog.
Spanish: Por supuesto, necesito pasear a su perro.
English: Whom do I need to meet this afternoon?
Spanish: ¿A quién necesito conocer esta tarde?
English: Correct, I need to meet my student’s sister this afternoon.
Spanish: Correcto, necesito conocer a la hermana de mi estudiante esta tarde.
English: And finally, whom should I tell that I already have the tickets to go to the movie theater?
Spanish: Y finalmente, ¿a quién debo decirle que ya tengo los boletos para ir al cine?
English: Yes, I should tell Sonia that I already have the tickets.
Spanish: Sí, debo decirle a Sonia que ya tengo los boletos.
English: Good job! Let’s practice.
