English: Let’s talk today about the days, the months, and the seasons.
Spanish: Hablemos hoy de los días, los meses y las estaciones.
English: Do you like the weekend? Oh, then you like Saturday, and Sunday. A lot of people begin their weekend on Friday, so they have a longer weekend.
Spanish: ¿Te gusta el fin de semana? Ah, entonces te gusta el sábado y el domingo. Muchas personas comienzan el fin de semana el viernes, entonces tienen un fin de semana más largo.
English: The first day of school or work is usually Monday. The following day is Tuesday, then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Spanish: El primer día de escuela o de trabajo es generalmente el lunes. El día siguiente es martes, luego miércoles, jueves y viernes.
English: In the Earth’s temperate regions, in the north or the south, there are seasons, but if you live in the warm region called Tropics, there are no seasons.
Spanish: En las zonas templadas de la tierra, en el norte o en el sur, hay estaciones, pero si vives en la zona caliente llamada el trópico, no hay estaciones.
English: In New York, there are four seasons. The coldest season is winter, it happens in December, January and February.
Spanish: En Nueva York, hay cuatro estaciones. La estación más fría es el invierno y ocurre en los meses de diciembre, enero y febrero.
English: The following season is Spring, during March, April, and May,the trees recover their leaves, the flowers bloom everywhere and the temperature increases.
Spanish: La siguiente estación es primavera, en los meses de marzo, abril y mayo, los arboles recuperan sus hojas, las flores crecen por todas partes y la temperatura aumenta.
English: After that, during June, July and August, the hottest time arrives. It’s summer season. It’s the perfect time to go to the beach, to the pool or to visit the parks to sunbathe.
Spanish: Después, en los meses de junio, julio y agosto llega el tiempo más caliente. Es la estación del verano. Es el tiempo perfecto para ir a la playa, a la piscina o visitar los parques para tomar el sol.
English: And finally we have Fall, in September, October and November. The temperature begins to come down and the trees lose their leaves getting ready for winter. Nature is wise. Isn’t it?
Spanish: Y finalmente tenemos el otoño en septiembre, octubre y noviembre. Empieza a bajar la temperatura y los árboles pierden sus hojas preparándose para el invierno. La naturaleza es muy sabia, ¿verdad?
